2 closets, wood floors with rugs, leather sofa, chairs, coffee table, side tables, books, an exposed brick wall with an 8 foot tall floor mirror and an open kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator / freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and a gas stove with oven and has plenty of cabinets and counter space. The bedroom contains a queen size bed with a dresser, desk, lamp, telephone, computer with printer and High Speed Internet Access and cable television with VCR / DVD player. The private bathroom has a toilet and tub / shower with a rain drop shower head. The apartment has a southern exposure with a window in the living room and a window in the bedroom that allow sun all the day long. The apartment has
2 air conditioners (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) and a Stereo / CD player / radio. All dishware, silverware, glassware, bed linens and towels are provided.
The building is 5 floors high and has a double door security system. The entrance is very secure. The two front doors lock immediately after entry. Visitors are welcomed through a secure intercom / phone system.
The apartment is located in the Midtown West / Times Square / Theatre District of Manhattan. This neighborhood is called Hell's Kitchen (and more recently, Clinton). The area is well known for its restaurants, bars and jazz clubs which are located on 8th and 9th Avenues, as well as on the East / West side streets. Restaurant Row is a block of restaurants and bars that are very popular with theatergoers and is only one block away on 46th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. There are numerous health clubs, liquor, wine and gourmet food stores, dry cleaners, laundries and movie theaters all within easy walking distance. From the front door of the apartment you are only two blocks from Times Square, the Midtown Business District and the Broadway Theater District. It is also an easy walk to Columbus Circle and The Time Warner Center (with the largest Whole Foods Store in the United States), Central Park, Lincoln Center, Herald Square (and Macy's), Madison Square Garden, The Museum of Modern Art and other museums, Carnegie Hall, Grand Central Station, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral and Fifth Avenue shopping.
Public transportation is conveniently located nearby. You will be only four blocks from the A, C & E subways (8th Avenue) and from the 1, 2, and 3 subways (7th Avenue). The N, R and W (Broadway) subways are only 2 short blocks away. In addition, there are numerous bus routes that run through the neighborhood and taxis are everywhere.
